General Lansana Conte University discusses ALECGS publications

His Excellency Dr. Issa Saleh Al Hammadi, Director of the Arabic Language Education Centre for the Gulf States (ALECGS) in Sharjah
Sharjah 24: The General Lansana Conte University in Sinfonia, Republic of Guinea, organised a scientific session on the publications of the Arabic Language Education Centre for the Gulf States (ALECGS).
The event witnessed the presence of His Excellency Dr. Issa Saleh Al Hammadi, Director of the Arabic Language Education Centre for the Gulf States (ALECGS) in Sharjah.

It came with the participation of a group of senior professors of higher education of the Arabic language, experts of Arabic education, educational researchers, Arabic language teachers in schools, and principals.

During opening of the scientific session, His Excellency Dr. Issa Saleh Al Hammadi highlighted the role of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in supporting the Arabic language within the UAE and at the level of the Arab world and the world at large. 

His Excellency Al Hammadi reviewed a summary of the centre’s publications, studies and research in the field of the Arabic language, which were prepared in the light of the latest standards and international best practices, and implemented by the centre since the beginning of its work in Sharjah.

His Excellency also invited specialists from Chad, Mali, Guinea, Ivory Coast, South Sudan and Senegal to participate in the training programmes organised by the centre during the coming period, which target specialists in the field of Arabic language.

His Excellency concluded his statement by thanking the officials of the university for organising the scientific session, as well as to the participants for their interest in the Arabic language.
