Sharjah24: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) assisted 806 students at 4.2 million dirhams during the first half of this year, through its charitable project "Supporting the Student " within the country, through which the Society sponsors the payment of tuition fees to enable them to continue their studies.
Abdullah Saif bin Hindi, Head of Institutional Services and Marketing Sector, expressed his thanks to the white-handed donors for their remarkable support for the education project so that the association can play its role, stressing that the assistance of the student of knowledge comes at the heart of the association’s message aimed at investing in the human being and advancing it in implementation of the visions of the owner His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Bin Hindi explained that the educational aid came to include the children of needy families and included the payment of school arrears for 130 university students, in addition to 676 students studying in pre-university education.
