Sharjah24: The Social Support Center of the Sharjah Police General Command organised an awareness initiative for the students of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, with the aim of introducing children's rights and preventing them from abuse, and promoting awareness of safe practices and the requirements to be followed for a safe environment, in the leadership hall of the Sharjah Police Club.
The initiative came in conjunction with the campaign launched by the Ministry of Interior's Child Protection Center entitled "Together towards a safe summer" since last July.
The initiative was represented by holding two awareness workshops presented by First Lieutenant Ghanima Issa and First Assistant Awad Al Amoudi, represented by the "Bullying" workshop, which shed light on the concept of bullying, its types, and ways to report it, while the second workshop included "Digital Security and the Risks of Bullying".
