Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Summer Forum, "Our Holiday is Different", organised under the Sharjah Sports Council, a workshop on conservation of consumption of water and electricity, at Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club.
The participants interacted with the workshop, which carried valuable advice concerning conservation at home, school and work, in order to preserve resources for future generations.
Engineer Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Forum Organising Committee, said that Al Hamriya Club looks forward to raising awareness of conservation and adopting it as a societal culture.
Al Muhairi pointed out that the Conservation Committee in Al Hamriyah always tries to take advantage of large forums and events such as "Our Holiday is Different", to provide advice on conservation.
For his part, Mujahid Al Khalifa, Conservation Officer at Al Hamriya Club, stressed that the workshop aims to encourage and engage in conservation from various segments of society, especially the young ones, as it is the building block for the future.
