Sharjah24: Wadi Al Helo region is witnessing a constant flow of valleys due to the recent rains that swept the country's eastern coast, which enhanced its fresh springs and groundwater that attracted the people.
Salem Khamis Al Mazrouei, a former member of Sharjah Consultative Council, confirmed that the recent rains did not cause severe damage to the mountainous area of Kalba.

In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", he said that despite the heavy rain, it took its natural path through the valleys, noting that for the first time, the Sharjah-Kalba road was not cut off thanks to its six massive crossings to drain rainwater from the road, which made it one of the most vital roads to reach Kalba amid the crisis.

He stressed that this atmosphere increased turnout rates in the region after the climate stabilised, as many people from different emirates flocked to Wadi Al Hilu to enjoy its nature.

Al Mazrouei noted the need to establish dams in the region to exploit its mountainous nature and conserve the water from the rains to form water lakes to promote tourism in the area.
