Sharjah24: His Excellency Colonel Rashid Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, explained that preparations were made before the exceptional weather situation, in cooperation with partners, by distributing pumps and water withdrawal tanks in their gathering areas.

Al Zaabi, announced that 2,427 people were accommodated in 5 centers, 109 tanks were provided to extract water in the affected areas, and 55 pumps, in cooperation with the municipalities, with the participation of the Armed Forces, the Civil Defense, and the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, stressing the presence of all elements to help people on an ongoing basis.

In statements to "Sharjah 24", Al-Zaabi called on the residents to stay away from the places of water gathering, as well as the stream of conscience and torrents, noting that the air wing contributed to the transfer of 10 medical personnel from the Emirate of Fujairah to their workplace in Kalba Hospital, in addition to 3 nurses who were transferred to the hospital.
