Sharjah 24: The General Secretariat of the Arab Theatre Institute (ATI) directed its publishing department to contribute to promoting the content of the House of Wisdom in Sharjah, in terms of its theatre releases in the Arabic language, by gifting it 216 titles of its publications that varied between studies, documentation, texts, translations and general culture.
His Excellency Ismail Abdullah, Secretary-General of the Arab Theatre Institute (ATI), expressed pride in the role played by Sharjah as a real capital for writers worldwide, whether through its leadership of the global publishing sector or through the Sharjah International Book Fair.
His Excellency added that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, supports theatre writing, consolidating it in the culture of the Emirati and Arab society, through cultural policies and the multiple programmes.
