Al Marri confirmed that, over the 19 editions, the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work has significantly impacted the spreading the concept of volunteering and instilling its value in society.
Speaking exclusively to "Sharjah 24", Al Marri explained that the award also contributed to the development of the concept of proposing volunteering initiatives to institutions, whether private, governmental or civil, by offering volunteering opportunities based on the desire of volunteers to meet their passion for this work.
