Sharjah24: Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) organised an awareness lecture for various groups of society entitled "Positive Volunteering" via the electronic platform (Microsoft Teams), as part of the award's awareness and educational programs towards community members and volunteer workers.
The lecture presented by the trainer Jawaher Al-Nuaimi included introducing volunteering and its importance to the individual and society, its types and fields, its human values and its societal and institutional benefits that contribute to enhancing community solidarity. ; It also touched on the legislation and organizational policies set by the UAE to develop the leadership of volunteer work, both socially and institutionally.
Dr. Jassim Al Hammadi said; Secretary-General of the SAVW, that the award seeks to promote educational programs and lectures related to volunteer work; He pointed out that volunteering in the UAE has reached a high degree of maturity and voluntary leadership locally and abroad.
