Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) has developed "Jabir," a humanitarian economic initiative committed to assisting and sustaining disadvantaged orphan families.
Through "Jabr," the Foundation helps make sure that families have an immediate response to any emergency situation. For example, it pays late rent and unpaid electricity bills, pays off widows' debts, gives them electrical appliances, and helps pay for medical care and surgery.
"In light of the Foundation's mission of providing all means of support and care in all social, economic, and psychological fields, and in order to achieve an urgent response to all families' needs in all circumstances," said Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Foundation, which makes a substantial contribution to assisting orphan families and incorporates complete coverage in the service of charitable and humanitarian activities in order to provide them with a decent livelihood.
SSEF has work programmes for orphans that run all year long. The goal of these programmes is to give the beneficiaries full care, promote the culture of humanitarian work, and get the community involved in helping with humanitarian projects.
