Sharjah24: Her Excellency Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, witnessed, during her remote meeting at the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF), a presentation of its most prominent achievements for 2021, in the presence of Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Foundation.
Her Excellency was briefed on what SSEF provided in 2021, which served 2,568 orphans belonging to 1,083 families of orphans in the Emirate of Sharjah and its affiliated areas from the eastern and central regions.
The Foundation directed its efforts to empower its affiliates, as it is an important element and a necessary step in building an orphan and achieving self-reliance with the aim of upgrading and providing sustainable care for him. The empowerment journey resulted in reaching the empowerment of 112 orphans in 2021.
Her Excellency Sheikha Jamila Al Qasimi expressed her appreciation for the efforts made, saying: “The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation is strengthening its work with projects it has dedicated to serving orphan families in the Emirate of Sharjah, with the support and interest of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
