Sharjah24: Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council, has cooperated in implementing water initiative by distributing water bottles to contracting company workers in a number of different construction sites in Al Rahmaniyah area in Sharjah.
The water was distributed during their morning work, as part of the efforts of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority represented in its center in Sharjah, where 500 cartons of chilled mineral water were distributed to all workers in five construction sites.
The idea of participating in this initiative came from the Community Cohesion Committee of the Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council, which is responsible for coordinating with the Red Crescent, especially after the sun’s heat increased and the decision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation to implement the decision to ban work performed under the sun in open places from twelve thirty in the afternoon. Until 3:00 pm on the 15 June, nearly 500 workers benefited from the initiative.
This initiative aims to spread the value of workers feeling while they are working during these days and the thirst and suffering they experience as a result of the high temperatures.
