ARSC organises “Life is Ethics and Values”

Sharjah 24: Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council (ARSC) of the Sharjah Department of Districts and Villages Affairs (SDDVA) concluded the Ramadan Majlis event with a public evening in which Prof. Dr. Suleiman Al Rahili, Professor of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Saudi Arabia, participated and discussed the topic “Life is Ethics and Values”.
The evening was attended by Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of SDDVA, His Excellency Ahmed Al Matroushi, Chairman of the Rahmaniyah Suburb Council, council members and a large number of invitees and families.

The evening began with a welcome by Council member Hassan Al Balgouni, who emphasised the keenness of Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council to implement Ramadan programmes in light of the recovery from the Corona pandemic, indicating the council’s keenness to achieve the desired benefit from these programmes and initiatives.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Suleiman Al Rahili thanked Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council for this invitation, pointing out that the importance of such initiatives lies in the fact that they urge society to display noble values and spread the human values called for by Islamic Sharia.

Prof. Dr. Suleiman Al Rahili also spoke about the role of morals and their importance in consolidating family and social relations and the need to strengthen them among generations, most notably the values of justice, honesty, communication, respect for others, helping others, patience, generosity, forgiveness and others.

Commenting on this, Al Rahili pointed out that the Quranic texts and the honourable Prophetic hadiths affirmed the call to display noble morals in all life aspects.

Prof. Dr. Al Rahili explained that life has its values and etiquette, which stem from theIslamic values, morals and customs.

He explained that the values work to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and equality among Muslims.
