Sharjah 24: In recognition of the efforts and the continuous march of excellence in the launching of community programmes and the continuous communication with families, the Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in Sharjah won “Suburb of Happiness’ Shield for 2021.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, visited Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council Saturday evening, to personally announce the win.
The Happiness Council initiative, launched by the Department of Comprehensive Police Stations in Sharjah Police, in cooperation with the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs and the Community Police Department, is one of the joint initiatives that seek to motivate the councils in the Emirate of Sharjah to work on establishing community programmes to achieve security and safety in the smiling Emirate.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi handed over the shield to Ahmed Abdullah Al Matrooshi, Chairman of Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council, expressing his appreciation for the role of Council and the programmes it provides throughout the year to enhance community awareness, through the activities and initiatives that it organises in cooperation with Sharjah Police, which contribute to enhancing the security and safety of members of the community.
He pointed out that this role of the suburb Council is important in promoting national goals and developing partnerships for the service of the Emirate of Sharjah.
