Sharjah24: His Excellency Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, member of the Executive Council and Head of The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW), stressed the excellence of the efforts of all employees and engineers in the construction and maintenance of buildings and maintaining their sustainability, This came during a ceremony held by the department recently, to launch its strategic plan 2022-2024, in its main building in Al Nasiriyah
The new strategic plan, entitled (Sustainable Civilized Reconstruction), was characterized by many development and vital initiatives and projects that would improve the institutional work in the department, through the concerted efforts of all employees.

Engineer Ali bin Shaheen congratulated all the employees for their excellence and the successes and achievements.

Eng. Hind Nasser, Director of the Center for Strategic Planning and Quality, said the department achieved 94% of the objectives of its previous strategic plan, reviewing the most prominent results achieved by the department in its previous plan, stressing that the department's vision, according to the new plan, will aspire to sustainable civilized reconstruction, while the message focused on the structure of Urban infrastructure that keeps pace with the latest cities, to meet the aspirations of the emirate's community.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the head of SDPW honoured the work teams that deserved two prizes in the international Stevie competition, and the department won the gold award in the category of innovative technical and smart services in the field of customer service, in addition to a bronze Stevie in the category of best responses to the Coronavirus pandemic.
