Sharjah 24: Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (DSVAD) organised “Yalsatna” initiative, with the aim of promoting social cohesion between the people of the suburb, in light of the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The meeting, which was held at the council’s headquarters in the city of Sharjah, was attended by His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Khalfan Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council, Mohammed Rashid Mohammed bin Jarsh, Vice Chairman of the Council, members of the Council, and a number of officials and employees.
His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri welcomed the attendees, and stressed the importance of the initiative to communicate and meet with them in a smooth manner and to know all their developments.
His Excellency highlighted the importance of integrating women in the initiative to exchange views and ideas.
His Excellency also maintained that the importance of the cooperation of the people of the suburb with the council, to raise important observations they have for consideration, and to address the problems that arise in the suburb, whether social or those related to the suburb and its public facilities.
His Excellency pointed out that the initiative comes to get in touch with the conditions of the people, raising social issues and achieving the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is keen to realise between families.
The attendees discussed a number of social issues and, through the initiative; they suggested proposals that aim to strengthen social relations.
At the end of the event, His Excellency thanked the attendees for their contribution to the success of this important initiative, hoping to meet them again in other meetings.
