Sharjah 24: Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD), under the support of Al Huraiz Establishment for Industry, launched the “Ramadan Utensils” initiative, the first of its kind, by providing 800 pieces of household utensils to be distributed to 200 needy families in the suburb.
The initiative comes as one of the council's social initiatives to help needy families in the suburb during the holy month of Ramadan by providing a set of 4-piece household utensils as a multi-use set for each family.
The initiative, implemented by SDVAD, strengthens the council’s vision to highlight its social role towards the people, according to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah.
His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri thanked Al Huraiz Establishment for Industry for their generous support of the initiative.
His Excellency confirmed that the council organises such initiatives out of its keenness to implements initiatives targeting the needy families of the suburb and contribute to spreading joy and happiness in their hearts during the blessed month of Ramadan.
