Sharjah 24: Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council of of the Sharjah Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs (SDSVA), as part of its charitable initiatives, to celebrate the 2022 celebrates International Workers’ Day and with the last days of the holy month of Ramadan, launched an honouring ceremony and an Iftar for 214 support groups and users of SDSVA.
They were given a financial award that contributes to supporting them to purchase their supplies, with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to their hearts and the hearts of their families and children. The honouring also included users from other government departments.
An amount of 64000 dirhams was paid to enhance social responsibility and human compassion during the month of Ramadan and to complement the council’s periodic initiatives
The celebration was attended by His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council, Mohammed Rashid bin Jerash, Vice-Chairman of the Council, Imran Muhammad Al Hammadi, Council Officer, Abdulaziz Khaled Al Abdouli, Administrative Officer, Hamed Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Administrative Officer, and Hamdan Ahmed Al Marri from the Events Department.
The initiative comes for their great and prominent role in serving the employees and pioneers of councils and departments on a daily basis, as well as on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The initiative targets the supporing groups, which included inviting them at the headquarters of Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council to attend the luxurious Iftar, and His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri delivered a speech extending thanks and appreciation for serving the Department and the employees. The chairman of the council confirmed that the honouring will continue on an annual basis as part of the council's periodic initiatives.
