Sharjah 24: His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Khalfan Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council, revealed the importance of the coordination meeting held at the Sharjah Police Officers Club, which aims to enhance cooperation with Sharjah Police and discuss some of the proposals to be implement in the council.
His Excellency stated that the council visited the Sharjah Police, represented by the General Department of Police Operations, in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier General Ibrahim Al Ajel and a number of fellow officers.
In statements to “Sharjah 24”, Al Marri added that one of the most prominent topics that were raised during the meeting was the organisation of a number of awareness and educational lectures for the people of the suburb, in addition to discussing some negative phenomena to develop appropriate solutions toward them.
The Chairman of Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council indicated that the meeting discussed the development of a mechanism to allocate a special office affiliated with the Anti-Narcotics Department of the Sharjah Police, with the aim of spreading awareness about its dangers, and following up on negative phenomena, as the office will be announced during the coming period.
Concluding his statement, Al Marri expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Sharjah Police, with its various departments, for cooperation and coordination with Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council to serve members of the community in all its categories.
