Jameela Al Qasimi: SCHS serves disabled people at all levels

Sharjah 24: Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) and editor-in-chief of the electronic monthly magazine Al Manal, acknowledged in "Word from the Editor” that the SCHS inspires in all it delivers to people with disabilities and society, from its vision, mission and strategic objectives that maintain pace with excellence, quality, efficiency, equality, diversity and knowledge production standards, in line with best practices.
Since its inception in 1979, the SCHS has worked tirelessly to provide high-quality services and programmes aimed at integrating, advocating, and empowering individuals with disabilities, in accordance with its vision and mission and the wise guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

She remarked that as Al Manal enters its 36th year, SCHS takes the opportunity to renew the promise and commitment to improving and enabling the quality of life for persons with disabilities as well as the development of their talents and skills. In this regard, she spoke to a number of the SCHS's efforts and programmes.
