Sharjah 24: As usual, with the approach of the holy month of Ramadan, Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council affiliated to the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in the Government of Sharjah, met with the imams of the suburb’s mosques in coordination with the Department of Islamic Affairs, at its headquarters in the city of Sharjah.
The meeting, held on Friday, was attended by Ahmed Abdullah Al Matroushi, Chairman of Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council, and Majid Al Shamsi, Vice President of Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council and members.
His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah Al Matroushi began the meeting by congratulating the attendees on the approaching holy month of Ramadan, calling on the Almighty to help everyone to perform acts of worship, praising the efforts of the imams and their continuous roles in carrying out Islamic rituals to the fullest.
His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah Al Matroushi referred to the imams’ responsibility to deliver the message of the mosque being the house of God on earth, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, and urged everyone to communicate with the community.
His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah Al Matroushi discussed imams’ needs, as they are one of the most important factors influencing the realisation of the vision of Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council in promoting community happiness through their transfer of the observations of mosque-goers to the council, in line with the vision of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in the Government of Sharjah.
