Sharjah 24: Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD) organised, on its second Ramadan evening, a lecture hosted by Sheikh Dr. Salem Al Ajmi, a faculty member of the Kuwait University, at its headquarters in the city of Sharjah.
Hassan Al Balgouni, Member of Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council, presented the lecture, which comes within the framework of the activities of the council.
His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah Al Matroushi, Chairman of Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council and a number of the council’s members, in addition to the residents of Al Rahmaniya Suburb, attended the event.
Sheikh Dr. Salem Al Ajmi spoke about the importance of social cohesion and the dissemination of the values of tolerance and compassion among the groups of society.
He pointed out that the United Arab Emirates is an inspiring model of tolerance.
During the lecture, he explained the importance of family communication between all individuals and the role of upbringing in promoting values, as well as working on the values of love and humanity and the meanings of tolerance.
At the end of the lecture, the Chairman of Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council, honoured the lecturer, Sheikh Dr. Salem Al Ajmi, and praised his role and the important axes he presented that aimed at clarifying the importance of family bonding, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
