Media collaboration between AQU and UAEJA

Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) has concluded a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UAE Journalists Association (UAEJA) to enhance cooperation in all fields, including media fields, which are essential for developing joint roles to serve the media system in the country.

The MoU constitutes a joint effort to build cooperation between Al Qasimia University and the Association in the media fields.

Jamal Al Tarifi, President of AQU, and Mohammed Al Hammadi, Chairman of UAEJA, signed the MoU.

Al Tarifi stressed that the MoU represents the University's keenness to strengthen its cooperation with the Association, the umbrella that brings UAE’s journalists together.

He explained that the University was looking forward to the cooperation to achieve the goals of the memorandum in supporting and strengthening the media message through collaboration with academic institutions to prepare a new generation of young people who are aware of the importance of media messages.

Mohammed Al Hammadi stressed that the MoU aims to consolidate the foundations of cooperation through training, awareness-raising, exchanging knowledge and experiences in journalism and media, and developing professional standards for workers in media institutions in the country.
