Sharjah 24: Al Subaihiya Suburb Council of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department has organised an initiative directed towards families, with the aim of raising their awareness and reassurance of their health during the holy month of Ramadan and within the framework of World Health Day.
The council conducted free medical examinations for citizens through cooperation with the Department of Preventive Medicine in Khorfakkan, which provides instructions and health awareness and conducts examinations at the suburb headquarters in the city of Khorfakkan.
It included blood pressure and diabetes check-ups, in addition to providing advice on preventing diabetes and reducing its risk, as well as maintaining public health by providing advice to citizens, and calling them to conduct medical examinations periodically.
At the end of the event, which the attendees interacted with, the council thanked and praised the medical team for their efforts to make this event a success, and to all medical and administrative staff for the examinations and education they did for the attendees.
