Competitions were launched with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan including several activities for families, with a wide range of offers, competitions and recreational activities that attracted families and their children and gained their interaction greatly.
Ramadan competitions were organised in the heritage village in the presence of Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, Head of SDVA, and a number of notables of the city of Khorfakkan, Sultan Yaqoub Al Mansouri, Director of the Amiri Diwan in Khorfakkan and Rashid Salem Al Naqbi, a member of Al Subaihiya Suburb Council and Chairman of the Social and Cultural Committee, members and employees of the suburb.
Al Subaihiya Suburb Council succeeded in attracting dozens of families in competitions that provided information and interest and aimed to enhance communication between families during the evenings of the holy month of Ramadan.
Mohamed Ahmed Al Ghawi Al Naqbi, Chairman of Al Subaihiya Suburb Council stressed the importance of Al Subaihiya Ramadan competitions, which were prepared early with the aim of inviting the suburb residents to the heritage village and organising events and activities in an atmosphere of beautiful family competition.
Al Naqbi stressed the keenness of Al Subaihiya Suburb Council, through its committees and members, to conduct events every Saturday evening and achieve happiness and familiarity between the participants in the competitions and visitors to the heritage village.
