Sharjah24: Al Subaihiya Suburb Council (ASSC) in Khorfakkan takes the initiative to distribute umbrellas to workers to protect them from the heat, amid scorching summer heat.
The umbrella initiative comes in line of the objectives of Al Subaihiya Suburb Council of the Suburbs and Villages Affairs Department, aiming to protect the workers from the sun heat, in line with the state’s.
The initiative is one of the council’s continuous initiatives, within its keenness to ensure the safety and health of workers, contributing in providing a healthy and safe work environment for workers.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al-Ghawi Al-Naqbi, Chairman of the Al Subaihiya Suburb Council, accompanied by Council member Khaled Musa Al-Balushi, distributed the umbrellas yesterday evening in front of the Council's headquarters in the city of Khorfakkan, after taking all necessary precautions.
During the initiative, one hundred umbrellas were distributed to various workers to ensure the health of workers during the performance of their work.
His Excellency Mohamed Ahmed Al-Ghawi Al-Naqbi, Chairman of Al-Sabihiya Suburb Council, confirmed that the Council took the initiative to provide one hundred umbrellas and distribute them to the workers as part of its commitment to support the workers to perform their work under safe health conditions.
