Sharjah 24: A delegation from the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) visited the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovations Park (SRTIP) to review best practices and discuss ways to activate joint cooperation to develop services provided to the public and prepare strategic plans to face future challenges.
Aisha Hussein Abdullah, Director of the Strategy and Institutional Development Department at SEWA, explained that the delegation was briefed about SRTIP and the most prominent technological projects. During the visit, the delegation was briefed about the innovation lobby that was designated for entrepreneurs and startups, which includes a package of the latest technologies and applied research laboratories for many fields, as well as the Sharjah Open Innovation Lab, a modern project to learn new skills and engage participants in learning content through a safe and appropriate environment. It is considered the first incubator for start-ups and innovative businesses in the emirate.
At the end of the visit, areas of cooperation and ways of evaluation and training through artificial intelligence and virtual reality were discussed.
