Sharjah24: As part of its community activities during the holy month of Ramadan; the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) continues to implement a series of programs, being reflected in presenting 6 Ramadan majlises, including awareness and educational lectures, with 4 virtual councils, two councils for men and one for women. They are held directly within the Ramadan majlises, in accordance with health and safety procedures.
The programs also include launching Ramadan competitions through the award’s account on the Instagram platform, with two questions every week throughout the holy month of Ramadan, including different topics; 3 winners will be nominated for wining the valuable prizes, according to the terms and conditions, with a total of 24 winners during the holy month of Ramadan. This competition, launched annually by the award, aims to enhance the participant and interact with members of the community.
Fatima Mousa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Award stated that in light of the Award’s vision and annual concern, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, it continues its programs for the holy month, which aim through it to contribute to the consolidation of the values of volunteering work among the various segments of society, in line with the Award’s competencies and objectives.
