Sharjah24: The Department of Continuous Improvement at the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) concluded the Professional Development Week, which it organised in cooperation with the Sharjah Education Academy, with the participation of 300 trainees from school leaders, second-grade leaders in private schools and teachers, with 60 targets per day for a period of 5 training hours per day.
The organisation of the Development Week is in line with the authority’s new strategy 2022-2024, through which the authority revealed the implementation of 24 initiatives, four strategic enablers, under which the governance, sustainability and efficiency of private education fall, for the purpose of improving the efficiency of educational administrations and institutional operations and in response to the developments of the educational community, in order to ensure quality and competitiveness.
Dr. Muhadtha Al Hashemi, Chairman of SPEA, confirmed that raising the efficiency of the educational system constitutes a basic base and pillar to achieve the authority’s vision and strategic objectives, leading to distinguished educational outcomes, noting that the authority has placed this goal among its strategic priorities that are based on the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Federal Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who has put human development on its list of priorities, and supported everything that would achieve this goal.
Ali Al Hosani, Director of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, indicated that professional development is one of the pillars of work within the efforts made to advance the educational sector in general, as the authority is keen to strengthen cadres, raise their level and provide them with modern knowledge through courses, workshops, lectures and training programmes, as enhanced tools that lead to providing the educational sector with knowledge resources of data and information.
