SPEA explores approaches to improve educational efficiency

Sharjah24: Ali Al Hosani, Director of the Sharjah Private Education Authority ( SPEA), chaired Monday's meeting of the Board of Directors of Sharjah School Principals' Council., which was attended by Dr Raed Abdullah, Chairman of the Board and Director of Taryam American Private School, and Samar Murad, Vice Chairperson of the Council and Director of the International School of Practical Creativity, as well as a number of authority officials.
At the beginning of their meeting, the Director of the Authority and the members expressed their heartfelt appreciation, and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for his support and guidance, and Al Hosani lauded the Council's role in advancing the educational process in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The meeting discussed the project: Sharjah Standard Emirate's for international and PISA, which is scheduled for next April, as well as two conferences planned for next June in collaboration with the Sharjah Education Academy to discuss education quality (sustainable improvement accelerators) and best practices for teaching and enhancing Arabic language proficiency among students.

The attendees discussed the school twinning project, which aims to exchange experiences and benefits as well as the project "Your children are safe," which is one of the authority's signature initiatives. It was launched by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi. It is meant to keep an eye on the transportation process so that a safe school transportation service can be provided.

The attendees discussed the framework for reviewing and evaluating private schools, which will begin in early May, and the teachers' training at the Sharjah Education Academy with the goal of enhancing teachers' capabilities, improving the work environment, and developing its tools, all in line with the Sharjah Private Education Authority's objectives and vision.
