Sharjah24: In conjunction with the World Autism Day corresponding to April 2 of each year, and under the slogan "Quality and inclusive education for all" - towards an easier life", the Sharjah Autism Center of the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services is organisng the awareness campaign for autism spectrum disorder during April 2022.
This year's celebration focuses on the issue of inclusive education in the context of the fourth goal of the sustainable development goals within the goals of the United Nations, with the aim of raising the level of culture in society, and promoting the inclusion of people with autism spectrum disorder.

The logo was chosen to emphasize the need for people with autism spectrum disorder to acquire the ability to take advantage of the possibilities and opportunities available to reach happiness and satisfaction, and the ability to develop their abilities and overcome difficulties and challenges.

Dr. Siham Al Hemaimat, Director of the Sharjah Autism Center, confirmed that the campaign slogan bears a call to support people with autism spectrum disorder to obtain good, comprehensive and equitable education, especially after the repercussions of the Covid 19 pandemic, which led to the temporary closure of educational institutions around the world and the cessation of providing services and the resulting disruption in the learning process.

As for the slogan "Towards an Easier Life" adopted by the Sharjah Autism Center, along with the global slogan, it carries a message that providing services to people with autism spectrum disorder should be easier and more quality.

She said that the Sharjah Autism Center continues to provide services to people with autism spectrum disorder in line with the slogan and strategy of the United Nations, by improving the work environment and education to contribute to better and easier education.
