SSC grants broadcasting rights to Sharjah Sports Channel

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Investment and Marketing Company at Sharjah Sports Club (SSC) has concluded the agreement with Sharjah Sports Channel to obtain the exclusive rights to broadcast the AFC Champions League playoff match, in which the SSC will host the Iraqi Al Zawraa team at Sharjah Stadium, on Tuesday, March 15th.
Sharjah Investment and Marketing Company also concluded a contract with the “Pro Company” company to market the match within Iraq.  Sharjah Investment and Marketing Company headed by His Excellency Ibrahim Al Jarwan worked quickly to negotiate with the marketing companies to broadcast the match from the Iraqi Republic, with the Company staff and the executive management of the club to sell the exclusive rights to broadcast the match inside and outside the country. 

Sharjah Investment and Marketing Company concluded an agreement with Sharjah Sports Channel and Pro Media, whereas Sharjah Sports Club was represented by His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al Qasir, Executive Director of Sharjah Sports Club; Sharjah Sports Channel was represented by Rashid Al Obaid, Director of the Sharjah Broadcast Authority; Sharjah Investment and Marketing Company was represented by His Excellency Ibrahim Al Jarwan; and “Pro Company” was represented by Yousef Saeed Hamid.

The agreement stipulate that all logistics facilities shall be granted to the Sharjah Sports Channel, which has the exclusive right to broadcast the match within the country at the highest technical level. The agreement also referred to granting the broadcast to the "Pro Company", which is responsible for marketing the match within the Iraqi Republic.

His Excellency Ibrahim Al Jarwan described the agreement as smooth and important for the SSC, as he was keen during the last period to reach an agreement to broadcast the match and to give the opportunity to loyal fans who may not be able to attend, support and watch the match behind screens. 

Al Jarwan stressed that the agreement gives an additional marketing value to the club, and concluded by extending his thanks to His Excellency Rashid Al Obaid, Director of the Sharjah Broadcast Authority, and Mr. Yousef Saeed Humaid on behalf of the “Pro Company” for their cooperation and smooth negotiation that led to this satisfactory agreement.
