Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) Conservation Clubs Race team continued its inspection tours of the clubs to follow up on the implementation of the initiatives and programs that were approved to win prizes for the competition, which will differentiate between clubs on the basis of their efficiency in providing energy and water sources.
SSC visited 14 sports and specialized clubs, as the council launched this initiative in September.
On the outcome of the visits and their significance, Abdullah Hussein Al Ali, Director of Support Services Department at Sharjah Sports Council and head of the race confirmed that these visits aimed at checking clubs’ plans, initiatives and executive programmes, and we listened to many proposals and discussed them in order to achieve the main goal of this competition.
He added: After the completion of these visits, the club's files will be received no later than May 31, 2022, so that the committee can evaluate the files and then announce the results during the month of September.
The committee’s work team consists of Mr. Abdullah Hussein Al Ali, head of the race, Eng. Mona Al Shamsi, race director, and members, Mrs. Zakia Suhail Al Musharkh, Head of Media Department, Engineer Asma Al Balushi, Head of Sports Facilities Follow-up Department, Mr. Ahmed Al Mehdhar, Head of Consumption Control Department for Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas, and Mr. Rashid Al Marzouqi Assistant Director of the Rationalization Department in the Authority, Mr. Hani Muhammad Al-Qasim, Strategic Planning and Quality Coordinator, and Mr. Hamad Al-Hosani, Project Executive Member and Rapporteur.
