Sharjah 24: Khamis bin Salim Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD) of the Government of Sharjah, accompanied by Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the SDVAD, honoured former Chairperson and members of Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council, for their voluntary efforts in serving the people.
The honouring took place at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, and was attended by Ahmed Abdullah Al Matrooshi, Ali Saif Al Junaid, Hassan Abdullah Al Balgouni, Atef Ahmed Al Karani and Abdulrahman bin Karam.
Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SDVAD, expressed his great appreciation towards the former chairperson and members of Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council for their efforts throughout their tenure, and their great voluntary effort in putting forward the initiatives and actions aimed at achieving the SDVAD goals.
Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi stressed that the SDVAD takes into consideration those efforts that have been integrated over the past years in communicating with the people and presenting the activities that have established the role of Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council in the neighborhoods and administrative areas.
Al Suwaidi indicated that the suburban councils, under the umbrella of SDVAD, seek, within the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to achieve the goals of the public interest and serve the Emirate of Sharjah.
