Sharjah24: The Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD) concluded, on Saturday, its celebration of "50 Years of Sultan’s Love ", organized over 4 days at Khorfakkan Amphitheatre on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, accession.
Abdullah Suleiman Al KabouriAl-Naqbi, Director of the Department, stated, during his exclusive interview with “Sharjah24”, that the last day witnessed a marine parade, from Dibba Al Hisn’s coast to the beach of Khorfakkan, with the cooperation of Sharjah International Marine Sports Club.
150 boats participated in the parade, raising the UAE flags and His Highness’s portrait.
The celebration included music live shows, poetry nights, folkloric performances, as well as exhibitions of traditional crafts and cuisine.
