Sharjah 24: During its first meeting for the year 2022, Al Bustan Suburb Council which is one of the districts councils of Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD), headed by His Excellency Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Council, discussed the work plan and the most important activities during the current year.
SDVAD meeting also reviewed the most prominent activities and partnerships during the first quarter of 2022.
The meeting was held at Al Bustan Suburb Council in Al Dhaid, and was attended by council members and council employees.
Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Council, praised the efforts made to serve the community in the city of Al Dhaid and the cooperation of the concerned authorities at the level of the Emirate of Sharjah to enhance the the Council's social role.
Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji also praised the role and the contribution of the Council to national events and activities, and the close cooperation with differnt authorities, such as the Ministry of Health and Community Protection represented in preventive medicine.
Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji added that the council is working alongside families, to listen and treat problems that often end in a friendly manner and with a very simple intervention; and work to provide different success factors for the implemented activities.
Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji stressed that Al Bustan Suburb Council vision and future initiatives stem from the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, driving the Emirate of Sharjah towards a new stage of growth, prosperity and development in all sectors and community service.
The agenda began with a discussion of programmes that were implemented in the past year and, a review of the most prominent work of the Council during the coming period, and partnerships with institutions and society.
The meeting also reviewed the council plans in 2022, which stem from the visions of Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department, aiming at serving and communicating with families, hosting events and implementing permanent preventive and awareness programmes.
