Sharjah 24: Coinciding with International Women's Day, which falls on the eighth day of March every year, the Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) organised a training programme on women's achievements and challenges women face, targeting female employees of the Sharjah government at all job levels.
SDHR celebrated the International Women's Day in appreciation of the important role of women in development through their effective participation in various fields.
SDHR congratulated the Emirati women and extending their thanks to the female employees in appreciation of their important efforts in work and their latent desire for achievement and creativity in various aspects of life.
In turn, His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the SDHR, stressed that women in the Emirate of Sharjah have always enjoyed great support from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council For Family Affairs in Sharjah, which always emphasises the importance of women for the sake of society, the future, development and peace.
