Sharjah 24: Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) concluded a training programme on first aid, in cooperation with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), targeting 90 employees from Sharjah government agencies, bodies and departments.
The programme was held remotely (Microsoft Teams), and was provided to 4 groups over a period of two months, where each group included approximately 23 employees.

The programme covered the basics of first aid, the principles of first medical care, and the responsibilities of first responders.

The programme focused on aspects of occupational health and safety, injuries and first aid in the workplace.

The programme aims to raise awareness and rehabilitate employees to deal with emergencies and accidents, and enable them to provide first aid services in the event of crises and injuries, which contributes to saving lives or alleviating injuries. Upon completion of the programme, the participant obtains accredited international certificates and a paramedic license.

The Human Resources Department is interested in implementing training programmes concerned with developing competencies, and focuses on training, developing the government work system, and consolidating a culture of self-development and sustainable learning.
