SDHR discusses developing and supporting digital systems

Sharjah24: On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Sharjah Government's Directorate of Human Resources’ (SDHR’s) headquarters in the Layyah region, the SDHR met with the Department of e-Government and the Sharjah Digital Office with the goal of strengthening collaboration to assist human resource capabilities. Dr Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Member of the Emirate of Sharjah's Executive Council and Chairman of the Human Resources Department, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah e-Government Department, Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office, as well as the Human Resources Department's team of directors and officials, attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed strategies for sustaining electronic human resource systems, programmes, and services, along with government data, cyber security, data protection, information systems and communication networks, and their control, and other departmental programmes for digital transformation, as well as challenges and solutions.
Dr Tariq bin Khadem highlighted the department's commitment to implementing modern technological and digital platforms to support human resources, develop processes, and increase productivity in accordance with globally recognised best practices for automating human resources systems, utilizing cutting-edge information systems and operational processes in the human resources sector, and leveraging new technologies that enable users to benefit effectively from the department.
 
He lauded the Department of e- Government's and Sharjah Digital Office's efforts to support Sharjah's government departments and authorities' systems and to expedite the execution of digital transformation initiatives.
