Sharjah24: His Excellency Eng. Khalid bin Butti Al Muhairi, Head of Department of Town Planning and Survey (DTPS), received Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of Khorfakkan Municipal Council, and the accompanying delegation with the aim of enhancing means of cooperation and communication between the two sides, and exchanging views on the implementation of a number of development projects in the city.
His Excellency Eng. Khalid bin Butti Al Muhairi, confirmed that the meeting with the Khorfakkan Municipal Council comes within the framework of the periodic meetings held by the Department with all municipal councils in the Emirate of Sharjah to discuss all issues concerned with securing the components of a decent life for the residents.
His Excellency noted the importance of periodic coordination with the authorities concerned with serving the public, reviewing opinions regarding the needs of development, service and community projects, and working with all relevant departments in order to enhance the development process, adopt appropriate measures and respond to the needs of the cities and regions of the emirate in terms of infrastructure, lands and services in a way that enhances the social and economic development that witnessed by all cities and regions of the emirate.
