SCC Committee reviews DTPS activities

Sharjah 24: The Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Municipalities, Security Affairs and Public Utilities Committee of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) reviewed the work of Department of Town Planning and Survey (DTPS) in Al Dhaid, and followed up on the functions to serve the auditors and customers in the department.
The committee visited the branch's headquarters in Al Dhaid, within the framework of the committee's work for the third regular session of the tenth legislative term.

The visit, which comes within the framework of a series of visits as part of the committee preparations to discuss the policy of the DTPS in the Government of Sharjah.

The committee was received by Eng. Abdullah Makhlouf Al Naqbi, Director of the Central Region Branches, Eng. Ahmed bin Nuhaila, Director of the Transaction Centre in the Department, Eng. Salem Mubarak Dalmouk, Director of Al Dhaid Branch, His Excellency Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and Head of the Department of Housing, Engineer Ahmed Al Shaibani, Head of Information Technology Department, and Saud Muhammad Al Zamani, director of the transaction centre in the branch, and Mana Baniyas, head of the compensation department.

During the meeting, the committee members reviewed the differnt services provided, and discussed the branch's terms of reference and tasks.

Both parties discussed the different viewpoints that promote the development of communication, in addition to identifying the housing plan for the central region and the mechanism for providing services to the auditors.

The members of the committee discussed with the representatives of the branch the future plans and programmes for the work of DTPS in Al Dhaid and got acquainted with the mechanisms used in the allocation and disbursement of lands and compensation for those affected by the implementation of development projects in the central region.
