SSSD wins Sharjah Excellence Award for CSR

On this occasion, Naama Al Zarooni, Director of the Institutional Performance Department in SSSD, expressed to receive the award, which has become one of the national initiatives in support of social and institutional, and most importantly, it motivates the participating parties to have a healthy competition to provide the best initiatives and projects for the benefit of society and the UAEe.

Naama Al Zarooni said that SSSD is keen to provide a healthy environment for all, and to work to provide supporting opportunities empowering families, senior citizens, children and women, and to improve the quality of life for the community of the Emirate Sharjah.
Naama Al Zarooni noted that SSSD has paid attention to social responsibility, through the implementation of a series of services, activities, awareness campaigns, and community, national, humanitarian and knowledge events, in order to achieve the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah to promotecommunity and human cohesion.

Sharjah Social Services Department participation in various fields of community work is represented in awareness campaigns and support for participation at all levels, as well as health, recreational and humanitarian services.  Voluntary work is represented in a number of volunteer opportunities with social responsibility, as well as educational work providing summer training programmes for university and school students.  In the field of environment, SSSD work involves using internationally and globally approved energy approaches, such as switching to clean energy in buildings and facilities, obtaining ISO in information security, as well as awareness campaigns to preserve and protect the environment, in addition to the field of work environment.
