Sharjah24: Subaiha Suburb Council and the Hayawa Suburb Council of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs discussed a number of common issues related to society during their reception of the delegation from Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD), Khorfakkan Branch, at the headquarters of the Suburbs and Villages Affairs Department in Khorfakfan.
The meeting comes within the framework of integrating efforts to serve the citizens and discuss various related issues in order to enhance aspects of cooperation between the two councils and the department's branch and discuss issues that concern the people of Khorfakkan.
Members of the Subaiha Council and Hayawa Council acquainted with the various societal roles played by the Khorfakkan branch of SSSD towards all segments of society, including children, women, the elderly and people with disabilities, in order to provide quality services.
The two councils were briefed on the social services provided by the department through its branch in Khorfakkan in the field of security, care and protection, as well as the rehabilitation programs for individuals, families and groups with special social conditions and the study of social problems to find solutions to them.
During the meeting, a number of inquiries were raised about the various services of the branch, communicating with citizens, examining their conditions, following up on their social affairs, achieving joint communication with the competent authorities, following up on various cases and field visits to citizens' homes, and examining their affairs and cases in their families.
