Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council organised the events accompanying the 11th Sharjah Lights Festival, in the city of Dibba Al Hisn, with the participation of many productive families.
The "Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi Mosque", in Dibba Al Hisn, saw a light show, and presented Islamic artistic patterns and bright designs that added a special touch to the architectural details of the building and to the images of Islamic culture that represent the heritage of Dibba Al Hisn.
The Sharjah Light Festival in Dibba Al Hisn has gained a special importance in harnessing the technological capabilities in the field of lighting, to show impressive artistic performances that tell the story of Sharjah.
The activities accompanying the 11th edition of the festival hosted the participating productive families, and a number of restaurants and popular foods. The festival presented a variety of activities, folklore and folk shows, workshops and educational programmes for children, in addition to cultural competitions.
His Excellency Ahmed Sultan Al Dhahouri, Deputy Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council said that over 5 days of hard work, the festival presented impressive light shows to all residents and visitors of Dibba Al Hisn. His Excellency Ahmed Sultan Al Dhahouri confirmed that the festival added a new approach in the culture of the Emirate of Sharjah, adding that the festival seeks to attract more of visitors and tourists at the local, regional and global levels, especially as Sharjah has become a prestigious tourist destination in the Arab region.
