Sharjah 24: Under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the "Sharjah Lights Festival 2022", organised by Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, successfully impressed several people with its activities in different regions and cities of Sharjah, decorating Sharjah's landmarks and buildings with a fusion of lights that embody the history and future of Sharjah, representing a unique exceptional event with a global flavour.
Being held under the slogan "Echoes of the Future", the festival's performances celebrates the ancient Islamic heritage that characterises the edifices and architectural buildings in the Emirate of Sharjah, providing a vision of the past, present and future of the Emirate.
Sharjah's Islamic architectural heritage has been celebrated during the shows of this Festival, bringing in thousands of visitors from inside and outside the country.
