Sharjah24: The Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) hosted an initiative to vaccinate its employees with the seasonal influenza vaccine, in cooperation with the Emirates Health Services, to curb the spread of the virus and ensure a better healthy work environment.
Abdullah Bu Ali, director of human and financial resources at the Directorate, stressed that the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works, in cooperation with the mobile medical team at the Emirates Health Services, vaccinated its employees with the anti-influenza vaccine, at the Directorate's headquarters in Al Nasserya.
He added that the Directorate worked during the past few days to count the number of employees wishing to receive the vaccine to ensure that they are included among the qualified groups and meet the conditions for taking the vaccine, highlighting the importance of the vaccine in ensuring the health of employees.
He stressed that organising the campaign comes within the framework of the Directorate's vision to promote the health awareness about the disease prevention, contributing in reducing the infections of the seasonal influenza and providing the highest levels of safety.
He called on employees to get vaccinated against the seasonal influenza, contributing in achieving the desired goals.
