Sharjah24: Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) has recently completed the construction and civil works in Al Mudhafi Park in Khorfakkan, and it has been handed over to the Khorfakkan Municipality.
Engineer Mohammed bin Yarouf, Director of the Branches Department, pointed out that the gardening works and the implementation of rubber walkways are in implementation of the supreme directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to establish a park that serves the people of Al Mudhafi neighborhood.
The park, which comes within the development plan of the department that meets the needs of the municipal councils and extends over an area of 4,400 square meters, includes all services and facilities, including toilets for both sexes, a prayer room for women, guard and supervisor rooms, and services, and a corner dedicated to children's games with colored rubber floors.
In the same context, the Director of the Branches Department indicated that the department had completed the construction of the Khorfakkan municipality nursery and handed it over to the municipality on an area of 12,762 square meters.
