Sharjah24: This week's "Aman, My Country" -meaning Stay Safe, My Country - show, presented by the Sharjah Police Media and Public Relations Department on Monday morning, featured guests discussing government innovation and how the UAE invests in ideas. Captain Ahmed Al Hammadi and First Lieutenant Manea Al Naqbi hosted the programme.
"Emirates Innovate Month" activities were addressed by Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, Director of Strategy and Performance Development of Sharjah Police.
Engineer Cezar Mukarzil, an innovation and strategy expert, addressed the institutional and developed country innovation strategies, pointing to the UAE's innovative position.
The “Virtual Hackathon” competition, the first of its kind among the country's police organisations, begins tomorrow, Tuesday. Sharjah Police encourages all ages and segments of society to join and propose creative ideas and solutions for a chance to win up to $20,000 via https://hackathon.shjpolice.gov.ae .
