Sharjah24: Captain Saud Al Shaiba, Director of the Traffic Awareness and Information Branch at Sharjah Police confirmed the development of all security and traffic plans in all cities of the emirate, coinciding with the winter season, in cooperation with strategic partners, in line with the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior aimed at enhancing security and safety and making roads more secure.
”Aman ya Beladi" programme, which is prepared and presented by the Department of Media and Public Relations of the Sharjah Police General Command (SPGD), and broadcast live on Sharjah Radio, and broadcast every Monday, discussed "Safe Traffic Winter".
Commenting on this, Captain Saud Al Shaiba explained that the Traffic and Patrols Department of Sharjah Police is keen to launch various traffic awareness campaigns continuously throughout the year, which comes to enhance traffic awareness to ensure adherence to traffic laws, especially desert and mountainous regions, to reduce negative behaviours that may lead to accidents during the winter.
Captain Saud Al Shaiba reviewed the "Our Winter is Safe" campaign and the preventive measures and awareness initiatives that accompanied it, noting that the most prominent violations that were monitored during the winter season.
The Director of the Traffic Awareness and Information Branch at Sharjah Police called on members of the community, citizens and residents, to enjoy their time during the winter, calling on the importance to adhere to the instructions and directives issued by the security authorities during weather turbulence.
