Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command, under the patronage of His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief, announces the launch of the "virtual hackathon" competition, the first of its kind in police agencies in the country, which coincided with the activities of the UAE Innovation Month 2022, which aims to engage the community to contribute to enhance the quality of community life and to achieve the vision of the United Arab Emirates to be one of the best countries in the world in terms of security and safety.
Sharjah Police invites all segments of society, including developers, programmers, and university students from inside and outside the country, of all ages, to participate in the "virtual hackathon", and to present innovative ideas and solutions, within the tools of modern technology, through two main tracks: developing a smart application, or proposing and developing an idea. innovative.

Registration opens to win financial prizes for the first places, with a total value of $20,000 (twenty thousand dollars), as of next Monday, February 22, and registration ends on Tuesday, March 22, through the link https://hackathon.shjpolice.gov. ae
